With a self-managed VPS you handle the administration yourself (software, updates, security) with full root access. With a managed VPS, our team takes care of the technical management for you.
Do I need technical skills to use a self-managed VPS?
Yes. Basic Linux administration knowledge is recommended: command line, package management and security best practices. Otherwise, our managed offers are a better fit.
Which Linux distributions are available?
By default: AlmaLinux, Debian, Ubuntu and RockyLinux. You can also import your own ISO image.
Can I install my own control panel (cPanel, Plesk, CyberPanel)?
Yes. With full root access you can install the panel of your choice. Some licences (cPanel, Plesk) are not included.
