Your sites run in France or Canada, in water-cooled data centres powered by low-carbon electricity. On our side, we give 1% of our revenue to environmental nonprofits through 1% for the Planet. And for every yearly plan, we plant a tree with Tree Canada and donate a solar lamp with SolarAid.
Is green hosting slower?
No. Our servers use NVMe disks and LiteSpeed, with Redis caching on the Ultra and Xtreme plans, and a 99.9% uptime guarantee. What makes the hosting green is how the data centres are powered and cooled, not the power given to your site.
Can I tell my customers my site has green hosting?
Yes. Our Green Web Foundation listing and our 1% for the Planet membership are public, so your customers can check them.
Does the price go up at renewal?
Yes, with yearly billing: the first year is discounted, then the plan renews at the price shown under each rate. With monthly billing, you pay the monthly price shown.
How do I get a free domain?
A domain name comes free with any plan paid yearly or longer. You can also register other domains with us, from more than 900 extensions.
Is there a free trial?
We do not offer a free trial. However, all our plans come with a 30-day satisfaction guarantee, letting you cancel and get a refund if you are not satisfied, except for certain services such as monthly subscriptions and domain names.

Can I change plans at any time?

Is it easy to build a website?
Yes. Sitejet Builder, included with all our shared plans, lets you build a site without code, by drag and drop from templates. Our WordPress plans add an AI-assisted site builder.
Are mailboxes included?
Yes, all our plans include professional mailboxes. The number and specifications vary by plan: see the full comparison of our plans.
What resources does my plan get?

Will my site have an SSL certificate?
Yes. A free Let's Encrypt SSL certificate is installed automatically on each of your domains, usually within the hour. The padlock reassures visitors, and Google takes HTTPS into account in its rankings.
How do I switch hosts?
The easiest way: ask for a free migration, and our team handles the bulk of it if your current host uses cPanel. If you would rather do it yourself: back up your data, order your plan (using an invalid transfer key to activate the service), move your mailboxes, transfer your files and databases, update your DNS servers, enable SSL, then transfer your domain.
