What is reseller hosting?
A reseller plan is a slice of our servers that you manage with WHM: you create cPanel accounts for your clients, with the packages and limits you choose, and you bill them yourself. Ex2 runs the hardware, the security, the backups and the 24/7 support behind you.
Is it really white label?
Yes. Your clients see your name servers, your logo in cPanel and your panel address. Ex2 does not appear unless you choose to mention us.
Do I have to pay for WHMCS?
Our technicians install WHMCS on your account for free, but the WHMCS licence itself is not included: you buy it from WHMCS and we set it up for you.
Who supports my clients?
You do: you are their host, with the service level you decide. Behind you, our team answers your own questions 24/7 in English and French, and handles the server, migrations and security.
What happens when I reach the account limit?
On R-Start and R-Expert you move up to the next plan, and we handle the transition without disruption for your clients. On R-Mega you can add accounts beyond 50 for $1.89 a month each.
How are resources shared between my clients?
Your plan has a total of accounts, NVMe storage, vCPU and RAM. In WHM you decide how much disk space, how many mailboxes and databases each package gets, and CloudLinux isolates each account so one busy site does not slow the others.
Can I move my existing clients to Ex2?
Yes, for free: our team migrates their sites, databases and mailboxes into your reseller account, and you switch the DNS once each site has been checked.
Where are the servers?
In France or in Canada, your choice when you order. Both locations run the same software and are covered by the same 24/7 support.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. Upgrade at any time: we handle the move and your clients' sites stay online throughout.
How is billing done, and can I get a refund?
Monthly with no commitment, or for 1 or 3 years at a lower monthly price, billed up front. Annual plans and longer come with a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Do my clients get SSL certificates?
Yes. Every site gets a free Let's Encrypt certificate. A premium GeoTrust or Comodo certificate is available for $33.29 a year, and you can also install certificates you already own.
Do I need a dedicated IP?
Not necessarily. A dedicated IP can be added to any plan for $3.29 a month, for a client whose setup requires one.
